Ancient Skills for Modern Living. As I grew up in the 1970s in Warrandyte on Yarra River my mum and grandmother and aunties all crafted, spinning, knitting, ceramics, crochet, painting, drawing, gardening and cooking. I learnt at their knees by watching and being taught gently and calmly. The workshops I run are done in this same vain, teaching you skills that connect you with your ancestors.

The sound of dragon wings
My little boy has just turned 9 and all he wanted for his birthday was a DRAGON!
Easier said than done. A quick crash course on needle felting via YouTube and a pile of Bilby Yarns sliver and a trip to the Pilbara (not much to do at night) and Glow Horn Dragon is born.
