Ancient Skills for Modern Living.
As I grew up in the 1970s in Warrandyte on Yarra River my mum and grandmother and aunties all crafted, spinning, knitting, ceramics, crochet, painting, drawing, gardening and cooking.
I learnt at their knees by watching and being taught gently and calmly. The workshops I run are done in this same vain, teaching you skills that connect you with your ancestors.

i'd love to be making only presents ...and goodness knows i give a lot away...but to pay the bills and put food on the table, i have to sell. and teach. you're in a fortunate position if your hands are not being "directed by the bank" :-)
indeed India your generosity means that you give lots away. the directed by the bank means I only get to be creative in my off hours (kids, gardens, cooking) .. results in not as much activity as I would like ;)
