The sound of mediaeval spoons

This is a first for me
using a mediaeval spoon shape from the Mary Rose
made from olive wood - pruned from my backyard
local, sustainable and recycling at its best
best of all its a present
now winging its way back to the original land from whence the design came from

The sound of banana stems twisting

Basket making is addictive
This one is from mulberry and quince tree prunings for the ribs
Banana stems for the weave
It's a present
I'm on a mission to only make presents this year

Another spoon

For a present
another mulberry spoon
i haven't been making them for a while
looking forward to swinging an axe again soon

The sound of collecting eggs

The basket is done
The egg collector is happy

The sound of wood chips

A pruned mulberry tree
some time
an axe
a knife
and then some spoons
given as presents to friends
and family
and a stranger in the USA
